IV sedation
Want to forget your dental experience?  That’s what IV sedation does for you. A small needle is placed in your arm and medicine is put directly into your body to help you relax and forget your visit.  A must for wisdom teeth and any other visit you wish to be through with quickly (or so it seems) and be completely comfortable.  This is certainly the best way to go if you have any apprehension.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous Oxide, or laughing gas as it is more commonly called, is a great tool to use when going to the dentist.  The gas is breathed into your lungs and causes you to feel more relaxed and carefree.  Try not to laugh too hard or your dental visit might take a little longer to complete.

Cosmetic/veneers

This is the “makeover” that many people desire.  Through state of the art dental materials we can now bond ceramic veneers directly to the teeth.  These look great and give someone the appearance of instant tooth whitening and orthodontics.

Teeth whitening
Teeth Whitening can be a quick and easy way to improve your smile.  We offer in-office whitening as well as a take home option for easy touch-up whitening later on.

White Fillings

These tooth colored fillings are the restorative material most preferred.  Mistakenly referred to as porcelain filings, it is really made out of composite.  The white fillings require less tooth removal, provide strength to the tooth, and are much more superior in aesthetics to the old silver amalgam fillings.

Implants
Missing a tooth or needing to get one removed?  Implants are now the standard of care in replacing missing teeth.  With the right indication, implants can now restore form and function and give you that tooth you once had.

Periodontal care

The gum and bone supporting your teeth is called periodontium.  Your periodontal health is just as important as not having any cavities.  Healthy gum tissue contributes to a healthier, aesthetic smile and is vitally important in your complete dental health.

Crowns & Bridges

Crowns (caps) are necessary to protect teeth that have broken, have very large fillings, or had previous root canal therapy.  Crowns completely cover and protect the tooth much like a glove protecting your hand.  Bridges act in the same way but replace missing teeth and give you that full smile again.

Dentures/Partials

Dentures are necessary when someone has all teeth missing on the top or bottom of the mouth.  The denture appliance is removable and is made from acrylic and simulates natural teeth.  Function is moderately restored, as well as facial form and aesthetics.  Partials are needed when someone is missing multiple teeth and does not have the option of doing a bridge.  A partial is a removable appliance and holds on to remaining teeth in the mouth.

Oral surgery

The oral surgery performed in our office includes wisdom teeth removal, extraction of other teeth, or other oral soft tissue surgery.  Wisdom teeth are normally removed under IV sedation for a more comfortable experience.

Endodontics (root canals)

Endodontics refers to root canals.  Root canals are actually the small tubular spaces inside all teeth.  This space contains the blood and lymph vessels and also the nerve of the tooth.  When a tooth gets a cavity that approximates the nerve it may then require root canal therapy.  Generally a painless procedure, the nerve is thoroughly removed and the tooth cleaned prior to plugging the space with a waterproof material.  The tooth will then need to be capped/crowned to protect if from fracture.  This is an excellent way to save your tooth so that it won’t have to be removed.
